The Pear takes the classic silhouette of traditional desert boots and translates it into a clean, modern shape. Flat proportions, oiled leather and the reduced construction give the model its calm and timeless presence.

The vegetable-tanned leather develops an individual patina over time, making every pair unique. The genuine crepe sole made from natural rubber not only creates a soft and direct walking feel, but also carries its characteristic slightly honey-like scent. Depending on the temperature, the natural material adapts flexibly and can easily be resoled when needed.

Mostly stitched rather than glued and consciously built for longevity.

All ekn shoes are made in traditional factories in Portugal. Working closely with our manufacturing partners allows for short transport routes and close collaboration throughout the production process. We work with durable natural materials, recycled fabrics and chrome-free tanned leathers.

Depending on the model, selected materials and components are certified by FSC, GOTS, GRS or PETA-approved.
