The aggressive sole, technical materials and clean lines give the Larch its futuristic silhouette. Inspired by classic 1990s sneakers, the result is a shoe somewhere between retro runner, fashion and performance.
At the center is Soil, a new generation of bio-based materials. Developed from mushrooms, natural rubber and viscose fibers, Soil combines a futuristic material aesthetic with natural raw materials. The material is biodegradable, vegan and 100% bio-based.
The responsive EVA sole made from recycled materials provides soft cushioning and lasting comfort. Recycled neoprene, mesh materials and the flexible construction make the Larch especially lightweight and dynamic to wear.

All ekn shoes are crafted in traditional factories in Portugal. We work with recycled fabrics, chrome-free tanned leathers and durable materials sourced as close to production as possible.
Depending on the model, selected materials and components are certified by FSC, GOTS, GRS or PETA-approved.
