Tropical plants make up about one third of all plant species in this world, and are an important part of the ecosystem. Their variety of unusual colors, shapes and textures fascinates us so much that they have become the source of inspiration for our spring / summer 2023 collection.

Since the very first ekn shoe, we've named each of our models after a different tree, so it's only logical that our colorways also have their origins in the plant world. We are now happy to present our homage to nature and show you some of its beauty. In addition to ekn evergreens, there are numerous new styles to discover that bring the colorful diversity of the jungle straight to your feet.

Tropical flora inspires us not only because of its diversity, but especially through the intensity of its colors. The color palette of the collection ranges from strong green to bright yellow to soft lilac tones and combines gradients with strong accents and colorblocking to reinterpret flowers, leaves and other plant shapes in this way.
