Quince All Black

Tradition reprogrammed. A hybrid of the classic desert boot and futuristic design.

The Quince evolved over several years as a personal development project by our Creative Director Marek Bäuerlein. Inspired by outdoor aesthetics, natural materials and progressive product design, the model combines traditional craftsmanship with a new visual language.

The elevated sole, hidden inner zipper and elastic speed-lacing system give the Quince its distinctive character. The vegetable-tanned raw-edge leather develops an individual patina over time, making every pair unique.

Whether worn formally or casually, the Quince moves deliberately between classic footwear, sneaker culture and functional design object. A true eyecatcher with endless styling possibilities.

The Quince All Black will be available exclusively for pre-order for four weeks starting September 2. Once the pre-order period ends, each pair will be manufactured in Portugal. Shipping begins in December 2026.

All ekn models are crafted in traditional family-owned factories in Portugal. Most materials are sourced within European supply chains and selected as close to production as possible. We work with recycled fabrics, durable natural materials and chrome-free tanned leathers.

Depending on the model, selected materials and components are certified by FSC, GOTS, GRS or PETA-approved.
